How to Grow as a Photographer

This program is for photographers of all skill levels and will cover tips and ideas on how to expand your creativity and grow your passion of photography. Topics include: How to energize your creativity, advance your skill levels, how to see as a painter, sculptor, writer, how to deal with bad habits and clichés, how to become a better judge of your own work and others, how to deal with creative burnout, and the tools you need to keep growing.
Guests are always welcome at our meetings, however, please be aware that there is a $5 guest fee (cash or check) for non-members to attend this meeting.
Wayne R. Pope Biography
Wayne has been a professional photographer for 40 years and is skilled in variety of genres, including portrait, nature, and commercial photography. He is an Adjunct Photography Instructor at Lansing Community College, Lansing, MI and has been teaching college-level courses for 15 years. He is a professional free-lance nature writer and outdoor photographer for magazines and newspapers and also operates a photography business giving private lessons and group photo tours across America.
Wayne has a BS in Biology from Michigan State University. Wayne was Glen Arbor Artists Association Photographer Artist-in-Residence in Gland Arbor, MI during the summer of 2008. He uses both Canon and Nikon equipment. Wayne and his wife, Melinda, live in East Lansing.
