Kelly Walkotten Biography
I am a wildlife and underwater photographer, traveling the world in pursuit of the next photo adventure. I teach Photoshop and Lightroom, lead photography workshops, and speak to camera clubs and photography groups around the country. I also show and sell my work at various Galleries around West Michigan and in the Florida Keys, and Fine Art America. I am currently sponsored by ProLab Express, FotoPro Tripods, and Hunts Photo.
My gear is a Nikon D810, and a FotoPro tripod. I have both Nikon and Tamron lenses, and like to play with my Lens Baby lenses. My underwater housing is a Nauticam with Ikelite strobes.
I currently spend the Summers at my Michigan home in Hudsonville Michigan (about 4 months), and live in the Florida Keys the rest of the year. I am a past member of the Grand Rapids Camera Club, prior to moving to the Florida Keys. I belong to PSA and NANPA. I and am the President of the Southwestern Michigan Council of Camera Clubs (SWMCCC) which we host the Summer Weekend of Photography the last weekend of July.
